// JULY FAVOURITES//

Hey guys!
It's that time of the month again!

My monthly favourites!
------------------------------------------------------------------------
          Montagne jeunesse face mask:

I bought this Peel off tea tree and witch hazel mask not thinking it would be up to much. ... OH MY GOD its amazing.  I have always wanted to try a peel off mask, but I always saw reviews on the more expensive ones and didn't really want to shell the money out if it didn't work for me. I saw this In Asda for £1 and just thought to myself - Try it if it doesn't work you've not love out on much.  It says to apply all over a cleansed face and leave for 25 -30 and then it should be ready to peel. I left it on for the time and oh my it was like cling film,  when I pulled it off my face was so so soft!. The smell is strong so wouldn't advise for people if they aren't into that, but it is a fun little mask for £1 and is really good.

Collection Lasting Colour lipstick : taffeta bloom

I LOVE this lipstick. It's matte and is very pigmented- in the swatch I only did one swipe.
It's also very longlasting. For the price I paid for this lipstick (under £5) I am very impressed with its quality!. I've been teaming it with my next favourite which is a lip liner.

Essence: lip liner - honey berry

I've never really been a lip liner girl, but recently I decided to give them ago. I picked this essence one up from Wilkinsons for around £1-2 and I was pleasantly suprise, the pigmentation is on point and the colour is really nice and quite dark but when paired with the collection lipstick it makes a really dark mauve/pinky purple.

Essence:silky touch blush- 80 autumn peach.

Sticking with the essence products, I have a few now and for the price point are really nice.  I picked this blush up at the same time as the lip liner and I think it was around £3. It is as described "silky" to touch and when buffed and blended looks very natural. There is a slight sheen which I love  (all about that glow)

Loreal Paris -brow artist plumper- clear

I saw this raved about all over youtube. I searched for ages to find it and when I did I wasn't disappointed. My eyebrows are sparce and small. This really does what it says on the tube, your brows feel and look more plump.

Last but not least....

My makeup storage.
This month I went to the range and saw this little drawers -the first thing I thought was... makeup storage! I had my eye on the perspex ones but for £10 a set I didn't want to pay it. The ones I picked up were from the office supply section and we're about £4 each... they do just the job and I got two got the price one of the perspex ones cost me. The lipstick holder is perspex but I got it from amazon for £2.

Until next time,

Leona ❤

// BLOGGER INTERVIEW

The blogger Interview.

How did you get into blogging?

I always wanted to write a blog and made a few in the past written one post and forgotten about it. I decided to give it one more go and now I'm here.

What advice would you give to a blogger just starting out?

-Watch tutorials and read about how to design your blog... what site is best for you and most importantly let it flow. . Don't force it.

How has your blog changed since you started writing ?

-It hasn't really no.

What would be your dream campaign?

-I don't know something  to do with beauty?

What advice would you give to PR's wanting to approach you for a campaign?

-Of course people would like to receive free things... but just because you are offered doesn't mean you need to do it. I wouldn't accept anything I wouldn't like really. A yes please or a thanks but no thanks would suffice

Do you have a plan for you blog?

-To write more. To get a handful of followers and to enjoy it.

What do you think about rankings ?

I check them an hour after  I post and maybe the next day but it's not a priority to see how many page views I've had- I find it more interesting to see where in the world are reading my posts 😃

Thanks for the tag Chrissie  (allabouttheburts)

I tag EVERYONE!

Until next time,

Leona ❤

// PRODUCT REVIEW -SOAP AND GLORY//

Hey guys!
So for the past month I have been trying out a new Liquid liner and concealer from Soap and Glory. I felt I needed to come out of my comfort zone with make-up and I had heard a few good things so decided to give them a whirl.

First impression was "wow I love the packaging " and the second was the price -not too expensive !

Soap and Glory Kick ass concealer:
top: the packaging is really nice and sleek. its a compact with a mirror , translucent fixing powder and the two colours (salmon for colour correction and your chosen skin shade)  in  separate compartments.
bottom; the product and what it looks like
I LOVE this concealer. I had heard  good things but was so surprised by the results.

As you can see in the picture, The eye on the left has non concealer just Foundation. The eye on the Right next to the Product has the colour correction part of the duo on the under eye.

the constancy is very creamy but blends like a dream . I noticed instantly that my under eye bags were basically invisible.

I rate the product 8/10- i only wish is that you received more product - the item is £10 and i got about 6 weeks out of the salmon shade. haven't overly used the other side as I don't really supper with a lot of blemishes.

Soap and glory: Super cat liner.

Super cat has changed my eye-liner game completely!
I am a winged liner girl, in fact I feel naked without it...
so I am always looking for my next favourite liner, I chose this because of how black it is - and of course because of the nib.

The colour also lasts all day which is a bonus!

Until next time,

Leona :)

//MAY&JUNE FAVOURITES //

Hey guys!

So since i was gone for so long i have two months of favourites to share with you!

these are things that i really really enjoyed and i would totally recommend :)

SO lets start with a mini Lush haul i did-

                              Cupcake fresh face mask: £6.50

I had always wanted to try a Lush face mask. I opted for "Cupcake" because of the scent firstly, and secondly because of its cleansing abilities. I did enjoy the face mask (even my mum did). It smells lovely and really did leave your skin feeling squeaky clean.

Sweetie pie Shower jelly: 240g £6.95

Again something that was on my list to try. I picked sweetie pie for the scent and i wasn't disappointed. The concept really intrigued me firstly. I have used a "Fun" bar from Lush before and loved it so even though its a bit of a gimmick i thought it was worth a shot. The smell was amazing, The lather was great. You really dont need to use alot which means it last along time (i did opt for the bigger one) and it looks like I've barely used it.  Another great thing about it as i use it to wash Caspers hair- he has eczema and can get a dry scalp so using this has been a dream and he now smells as gorgeous as he looks :) when this is finished i will repurchase but i would like to try some of the other scents to.

                                        Ickle baby bot: £1.95

Talking of casper, i bought him these to try as using Diprobase/ Edaderm/Oilatum in this bath everynight but be so boring for him as obviously he doesnt have any bubbles and the smell isnt very exciting. He LOVED these little bombs ( even though there were a fews tears when he realised the robot had gone) they were fun, made his water look cool and they smelled nice. I was worried about them irritating his skin, his ezcema isnt as bad as some kids but it does get very raw so i do try to manage it best i can. i split one bomb into 2 so they were even more cost effective and it still seemed to please him. I will be buying him some more when i place my next order :)

                                                       Comforter bubble bar: £4.75
Im going to sound like a broken record but again this was something i really wanted to try for some time but also forgot when i was in a lush store as its so busy and lovely in there that i normally get carried away. As i placed this order online i made sure i put it in my basket first, I love love love love this! as with the "Ickle baby bot" i break this into chunks as i feel it lasts longer . This makes the most amazing bubbles and smells beautiful! i wish i lived near London so i could go into the Oxford street store and buy in shower gel ( in store at that store only booooo) this also smells like the sweetie pie shower jelly which as I've said above i love. it also leaves your skin feeling smooth so that's an added bonus. i will be placing a Lush order soon so I'm getting another one of these as I've been to scared to use it and run out and not have it for awhile... I am ADDICTED.

And now for some random Favourites

Milani Baked Blush in " Luminoso" : £4.49

OH MY GOD! this blush has changed my life. As a Youtube addict i had heard a lot of beauty bloggers raving about this blush! I just needed to try it and when i did i was so so so in love! Next time i do an Amazon haul I'm going to get another colour to try as the formula and the " glow from within " it gives is so beautiful and also you can use it on its own and over other blushes.

                                Real Techniques Duo Fibre collection.£13.49

After i got my other two sets of the real techniques brushes and fell in love i needed some more because of the number of products i use (powder, highlight ect) i had been eye balling these and saw that they had them on amazon for half price so i ordered without even a second thought and i am so glad i did.

The set includes:
duo fibre face brush
duo fibre contour brush
duo fibre eye brush

with the Duo fibres these brushed are a dream to work with, they dont pick up too much product and work easily to blend ( which is something i struggle with) all in all a great purchase.

Real techniques Stippling brush.-£6-10

I needed this brush for foundation because I was really struggling with the flat paint brush type foundation brush i had. This brush has duo fibres but isnt marketed as one really. This is an amazing brush and my foundation has never been so flawless.

Yankee candles- Large Jar- A childs wish- Tarts black plum blossom and wild fig.

I am somewhat of a Yankee addict ( i hoard tarts shhh) i won this set on a raffle page I am on on Facebook for £2! I wont go into to much detail but they are all lovely scents.
A child's wish is a fresh smell.. flowery but not too flowery and its a very clean smell too.
Black plum blossom is a sweet floral with a hint of a tang to its
Wild fig is very sweet with a tang also but also very fresh.

Thanks for stopping by and reading my favourites.

See you soon

// SORRY!- where I've been //

Hey guys!

Sorry for being quiet recently! Not really been in the frame of mind for blogging!

Caspers started terrible twos early so alot  of my time has been spent with him- then by bedtime (which is getting later and later with him at the moment) I am knackered and just want to watch big brother and then pass out!

Also just been feeling very flat! Been staying in alot and not really seeing anyone and generally just not feeling myself!

But! I've missed blogging and have like 10 posts lined up plus one I have nearly finished - it's a biggy and not beauty related so is a little harder to write when I felt so meh! I need to get back into the flow of things so I'm going to attempt to have another post done by tonight!

Using this app on my phone doesn't seem hard but when I like to move things around it is easier on the laptop which is abit crap. I've been on at ben to get my a wireless thingy for my pc so I can use that instead but men are useless so it hasn't happened.

I also want to get a Camera! My phone camera isn't bad at all- I just want to be able to take Blog pictures soley on their then I don't have to worry about filling my phone memory up.

But yeah!

I'm back

- Leona 💚
